The Ball Corporation was launched in the USA by George J. Ball in 1905 as a wholesale cut flower operation and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership.

The company has grown to colour the world and transform garden dreams into reality all across the globe.

Ball Australia is a proud part of the Ball corporation and was established in 2001. Ball Australia’s wholesale nursery is based 38km from Melbourne on a 16-hectare site in Skye with a purpose designed modern horticultural facility, where Ball Australia has
the flexibility of growing high-quality plants to supply wholesale growers with plugs all year round.

Product is grown from seed, tissue culture and vegetative cuttings, offering products to fit the needs of today’s gardening lifestyle; including flowers to fit small or indoor spaces, top-rated vegetables and herbs, low-maintenance succulents, as well as other plants that bring colour and pollinators to home gardens.

Plug production is to order and shipped year-round all across Australia to wholesale growers.
Ball Australia marketed many innovative varieties to the Australian market including Simply Beautiful, Nature’s Décor, Sunpatiens, Beacon Impatiens, Wave Petunias & Pansies plus a wide range of promotional lines.
