We’re seeking a Nursery Operations Coordinator for a hands-on role involving team management, delivery driving, and visual merchandising. This outdoor role involves manual labour, plant care, stock control, and collaboration with clients and growers. You’ll also assist with online orders and potentially contribute to social media and marketing efforts.
Job Type: Full-Time (5 Days/Week, 7am-3pm)
Location: Werribee South, VIC (Deliveries across Melbourne Metropolitan Area)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee nursery operations, ensuring plant care and efficiency.
- Follow and enforce safety protocols.
- Safely transport plants and products across Melbourne.
- Manage visual merchandising at garden centres.
- Liaise with growers and clients to ensure product quality.
- Manage stock, fulfil online orders, and maintain inventory.
- Handle plant care, including watering, fertilising, and pest control.
- Contribute to social media and marketing (if experienced).
Qualifications:
- Valid van driver’s licence (12 months experience required).
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
- Physically fit for outdoor work and manual labour.
- Team-oriented with experience in nursery operations or horticulture.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
