Mansfield’s Propagation Nursery — Australia’s leading propagation nursery — is seeking a positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our dedicated team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced, highly productive environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards across facilities, equipment and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

Core duties may include:

  • Coordinate all facility maintenance jobs, including liaising with and overseeing external contractors
  • Operate and carry out basic maintenance of agricultural machinery and automation equipment
  • Organise and complete routine and preventative general building and facility maintenance
  • Complete repairs, troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions
  • Organise external assistance when specialist support is required
  • Oversee improvement, installation and upgrade projects
  • Identify maintenance issues and proactively address potential problems
  • Maintain high presentation standards across the facility, grounds and surrounding areas
  • Support the ongoing improvement, reliability and functionality of nursery infrastructure and equipment

Requirements

  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • MR Truck Licence preferred, but not essential

Trade, horticulture, mechanical, irrigation, electrical or facilities experience will be highly regarded. However, we are more interested in practical ability, problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn than formal qualifications.
