The Frenchams Group, a leading indoor plant hire company, seeks a plant care specialist to provide regular maintenance to indoor plants for clients across Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs.

We seek an enthusiastic, hard-working individual who thrives both independently and in a team. You’ll support the Frenchams brand by delivering attractive indoor landscapes to clients.

An interest in plants is essential. Horticulture qualifications are highly regarded.

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll provide plant care across various businesses and office locations.

What will you be doing in your role at Frenchams?

  • Manage plantscapes with regular client visits for watering, cleaning, trimming, placement, fertilisation, and pest control.
  • Assess plant condition and organise replacement as needed, considering site and client needs.
  • Organise service schedules for your allocated customers.
  • Liaise with clients, address requests and feedback, and keep records of interactions.
  • Handle administration tasks such as OHS inductions, audits, emails, and updating schedules.

What you will need to succeed in the role.

  • A passion for indoor/outdoor plants and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Horticulture experience is a definite advantage.
  • Neat personal appearance.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and flexibility.
  • Physically fit for an active role involving lifting and standing.
  • Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel).
  • A valid driver’s licence and safe driving history are mandatory.
  • National police clearance required.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
