Are you looking to start a career in horticulture? Do you enjoy working outdoors and learning practical skills?

We are seeking a motivated and reliable First Year Horticulture Apprentice to join our wholesale production nursery team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised horticulture qualification.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working alongside experienced staff, you will learn a range of nursery skills, including:

  • Potting, planting, pruning, and maintaining plants
  • Watering and monitoring plant health
  • Weeding and general nursery maintenance
  • Labelling and organising nursery stock
  • Picking and preparing customer orders
  • Loading and unloading plants and materials
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy
  • Assisting with general nursery operations

What We’re Looking For

  • An interest in plants and/or horticulture
  • A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks

No previous experience is required. Training will be provided.
