Skills and Experience

  • Experience in similar related field for open space and grounds maintenance (ie turf, trees/plants, garden beds, mowing)
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
  • Reporting on progress to our Maintenance Supervisor

Key Requirements

  • A current valid driver’s licence (LR/MR would be advantageous)
  • A Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or are in the process of obtaining.
  • Be physically fit to be able to perform requirements of the role.
  • A team player with positive outlook and who can work independently as required.
  • Good communication and record management skills and able to work related IT systems.

Desirable

  • AgVet /Chemical Users Training
  • Cert Ill in Horticultural discipline is highly desirable but not necessary.

About Us

Open Space Victoria (OSVgroup) is a rapidly growing company that specialises in project management of civil landscape projects for local government and the building construction industries. OSV has a number of excellent opportunities within our maintenance team looking after the establishment of our tree, plants and parks and infrastructure maintenance. You will be an integral part of the OSV team taking ownership and providing maintenance in all aspects for new projects. Your work area will be based in and around Melbourne. You’ll work within a great team in a positive workplace environment to deliver high quality open space landscapes to our clients.
